A clear dose-response
Across the trial series, firmness rose steadily with Renova concentration — from 0.5% through 2.0% — a textbook dose-response that is strong evidence of genuine, mechanism-driven activity rather than incidental effect. In the 57-day study, treatment had a highly significant effect on firmness (F = 12.77, p < 0.001), letting growers tune the dose to the storage duration and market they are shipping to.
Proven across multiple trials
Three independent cold-storage trials on Santra soft-peeling citrus at Nagpur, India, run between February and June 2026 at 4–7 °C. Renova-VOL EP — a 4% AI GRAS botanical multi-enzyme formulation — was evaluated across a dose range against 1-MCP and an untreated control, and consistently held firmness far beyond the untreated shelf life.
The bottom line: Soft-peeling citrus is a premium, fast-growing export category — and one of the most perishable.
